My Friends...
One thing that has been constantly changing in my life has been my friends. Every single one has had an inpact of some
sorts, some more than others. There is a quote that says, "Some people walk into our lives and leave quickly while others
stay and leave foot prints on our hearts." Just something to think about...
Shovana Chowdhury
Shovana is like my sister here at Etown. She just came last semester from Dhaka, Bangladesh. She is always bringing out
the mischief in me, especially in our late night girl's chats and our team efforts of surfing the web. Shovana is also an
International business major so we help each other out with our classes a lot. We spend lots of time together here in Etown.
Hopefully, I can keep Shovana out of trouble...hehehee...
Clare Pichler
Clare is defintely the most unique and rockin' person on the East Coast. She is from Baltimore. She really opened me
up my freshmen year; the main area was in music but in life as well. Clare is an Art major here at Elizabethtown College.
Ever since that first day she left a message on my door we have been pals. Someday I know that she will have her own punk
rock cafe with her art hanging on the walls with those little chilly pepper lights.
Mai Usami
Mai was a special person in my life. She is from Tokyo, Japan. She was one person I could always count on and had endless
hours of chatting with (mainly about guys)hehehe...She came to Etown for study abroad one year program. She is in her last
year of studies back home in Japan. Hopefully in one year I will get to be staying with Mai in Japan while I am studying abroad
at Nihon University in Tokyo. Mai is a very talented young lady with lots of good things in her future she is going to be
one of those awesome and great looking business women who know what they want. I am missing Mai so much everyday...
Emi Kanno
Emi is another one of my great friends from Japan. She is living in Sapporo. Emi brought out my wild and carefree side
in the year that she was here. We did so many things together including taking classes together. Emi is back at home looking
for a job, I am sure she is having fun and being sucessful. Hopefully when I am in Japan we will get to meet up a few times.
Lynsey Choge
Lynsey was one person who has the greatest influence on my life. I met her Fall semester of my sophmore year. She was
studying at Elizabethtown College as a communications major. She was from Kenya and is one of the most talented writers that
I know. She is currently back in Kenya but she is always in my thoughts. Lyns is going to do something that changes the whole
world one day! Of all my friends that have come and gone, Lyns is the one that I miss the most...
Angie Berrier
Angie is the person that has stuck with me the longest. I think that she defintely deserves a prize for that. We have
been friends since Kindergarden. She is studying elementary education at HACC (Harrisburg Area Community College). She is
a very taleted and caring person I am sure she will be a great teacher someday.
